Water softener installation and repair
Phoenix has some of the hardest water in the country. A water softener protects your pipes, fixtures and water heater, and it makes cleanup a lot easier.
- Licensed, bonded & insured
- AZ ROC #355808
- 1-year warranty
Hard water carries calcium and magnesium that build up as white scale on faucets and shower glass, and inside your pipes and water heater. Over time that scale clogs aerators, wears out fixtures and makes your water heater work harder.
We install new water softeners, replace old ones and repair units that stopped working. That includes the bypass valve and the drain line, so the system works right and you can shut it off when you need to.
Signs you need a softener, or a repair
- White crust on faucets, showerheads and glass
- Spots on dishes after the dishwasher
- Soap and shampoo don't lather well
- Your softener stopped using salt
- Low pressure or salty water after a softener install
- A water heater full of sediment

Common questions
Do I really need a water softener in Phoenix?
You don't have to have one, but most homeowners here are glad they do. Without one, scale builds up on fixtures, inside pipes and in your water heater, and those parts wear out faster.
Why isn't my softener using salt anymore?
Common causes are a salt bridge (a hard crust that forms in the brine tank), a clogged injector, a bad control valve or a setting that got changed. We find the cause and repair it.
Can a water softener lower my water pressure?
A softener that is too small, clogged or installed with restrictions can lower your pressure. A system that is sized and installed correctly should not cause a noticeable drop.
