Slab leak detection and repair
A leak under your concrete slab can run for months before you see it. We find it, show you the options and fix it before it damages your floors and foundation.

Most homes in the Phoenix area are built on a concrete slab, with water lines running under it. Hard water, shifting soil and age can wear a pinhole in those lines, and the leak stays hidden under the floor.
Once we know where the leak is, there are usually two ways to fix it. A spot repair opens the floor right at the leak and replaces that section of pipe. A reroute runs a new line through the walls or attic and leaves the old line under the slab. We'll tell you which one makes more sense for your house and give you the price for both.
Signs of a slab leak
- A higher water bill you can't explain
- Warm or hot spots on the floor
- The sound of running water when everything is off
- The water meter keeps moving with all fixtures off
- Damp carpet, warped wood floors or wet baseboards
- Cracks in the floor or walls that keep growing

We locate the leak under the slab so we only open what we need to.
Repair or reroute
We fix the pipe with a spot repair or reroute the line, depending on what's best for your home.

Common questions
How can I check for a slab leak myself?
Turn off every faucet, appliance and the irrigation, then look at your water meter. If the dial or the small leak indicator keeps moving, water is going somewhere. Call us and we'll find out where.
Will you have to break up my floor?
Only if a spot repair is the best option, and then only a small section right at the leak. If the line has more than one leak or is in bad shape, a reroute through the walls or attic avoids breaking the floor at all.
Does homeowners insurance cover a slab leak?
It depends on your policy. Many policies help with the water damage and the cost to reach the leak, but not always the pipe repair itself. Check with your insurance company, and we can give you the details they ask for.
